PAUL, MN聽(June 28, 2019) 鈥撀�The 2019 American Association All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 23, will feature the best and brightest stars the league has to offer.聽 The day before, All-Star Monday presented by CHS, won鈥檛 lack for star talent either.聽 The St. Paul Saints will kick off the two-day celebration with a night of stars including a celebrity softball game featuring All Pro wide receiver, Adam Thielen and friends, the American Association home run derby, presented by Jack Links, and culminates with a concert headlined by country music鈥檚 Drake White and The Big Fire.

On Monday, July 22 CHS Field will host the extravaganza beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the Celebrity Softball Game featuring Adam Thielen and friends.聽 The 90-minute game will be an all-out battle between NFL players, St. Paul Baseball icons, Twin Cities media personalities, and a few surprise guests.聽 Find out if the burly athletes from the gridiron can slug a ball 400 feet or if the talking heads can get the ball out of the infield.聽 In the end, it鈥檚 all for a good cause as the event will benefit the Thielen Foundation.聽 Adam and his wife Caitlin founded this charitable organization with a focus on youth development and aims to create programs that serve, educate and inspire individuals so they鈥檙e equipped and empowered to reach their full potential in life.聽 In addition to other fundraising opportunities, the jerseys worn by the two teams during the softball game will be auctioned throughout the game with the proceeds benefiting the Thielen Foundation.

Following the Celebrity Softball Game the top sluggers in the American Association will display their raw power during the Jack Links Home Run Derby.聽 From 8:00 p.m. 鈥� 9:00 p.m. these sluggers will face off to see how many, and how far, they can hit it out of CHS Field as they try to claim the title of league鈥檚 best.聽 Four players from the North Division and four players from the South Division will square off along with some special guest home run hitters.

Finally, the night will culminate with a country music concert featuring Drake White and The Big Fire.聽 Drake鈥檚 soulful voice is equal parts Baptist tent revival and amped-up southern rock festival.聽 His country soul sound was first heard in his debut single in 2013 鈥淪imple Life,鈥� and he鈥檚 known for his hits 鈥淚t Feels Good,鈥� 鈥淟iving the Dream,鈥� and 鈥淢aking Me Look Good Again.鈥澛� He reached number four on the Top Country Albums chart in 2016 with 鈥淪park鈥�.聽 Drake, along with his band The Big Fire, has toured with artists including Willie Nelson, Dierks Bentley, Zac Brown Band, Eric Church, Kip Moore and more. It鈥檚 no wonder the Alabama native was named one of Entertainment Weekly鈥檚 New Artists Who Will Rule 2017, Rolling Stone鈥檚 10 Country Artists You Need To Know, and Billboard鈥檚 Hot New Country Artists to Watch.聽 The Chris Hawkey Band will open the show.聽 Chris and his band, with such hits as 鈥淪et Free,鈥� 鈥淔avorite Song鈥� and 鈥淣orth Country,鈥� will bring their country-rock sound to CHS Field.聽 Chris has shared the stage with Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Sugerland and more.

Tickets for All-Star Monday are on sale now and begin at $5 for the Treasure Island berm seating, $6 for SPLASH bleacher seats, $14 for outfield reserved, $16 for the drink rail and $18 for infield reserved and home plate reserved.聽 Children under the age of 12 and seniors 65 and older receive $1 off the admission price.聽 Children under 2 that don’t require a seat are free.聽 Tickets can be be purchased at the Saints box office or over the phone at聽651-644-6659,聽Monday-Friday聽from 9-6 or聽Saturday聽10-2 or anytime at聽
