LFÌýAnthony Kaskadden, who went 3-for-5 with two RBIs, had an RBI single in the inning, and 3BÌýRonnie BourquinÌýplated a run by drawing a bases-loaded walk. StarterÌýTaylor StantonÌýallowed three runs across six innings to get the win. For the Saints, 3BÌýHenry WrigleyÌýwent 3-for-4 with a two-run homer.
Kansas City 9, Lincoln 2 –
Kansas City 3B TJ Mittlestaedt set the tone in the leadoff spot, homering in the first at-bat of the game, and the T-Bones went on to beat Lincoln, 9-2. The T-Bones had 12 hits and seven walks, putting plenty of pressure on Lincoln’s pitching staff. CFÌýRobby KuzdaleÌýwent 3-for-4 with two RBIs and hit a two-run homer in the ninth to cement the win.ÌýÌýRight-hander Jared MesserÌýpicked up the win after pitching 2/3 of an inning in relief. DHÌýNick SchwanerÌýand 2BÌýDanny RicharÌýboth added two RBIs.
Winnipeg 12, Gary SouthShore 0 –
³¢±ð´Ú³Ù-³ó²¹²Ô»å±ð°ùÌýChris SalamidaÌýpitched a four-hit shutout against the RailCats in a 12-0 win. It was Salamida’s first complete-game shutout this season through 14 starts. Two Goldeyes — 2BÌýBrock BondÌýand CFÌýReggie AbercrombieÌý— had four hits. Abercrombie led Winnipeg with four RBIs. 1BÌýCasey HaertherÌýbatted 3-for-5, including a seventh-inning home run and had three RBIs.
