The Gary SouthShore RailCats blanked the Winnipeg Goldeyes 3-0 behind a solid outing from starting pitcherÌýDustin Crenshaw.
Crenshaw went eight strong innings and allowed just four hits and issued four strikeouts. RelieverÌýIan KadishÌýfinished things off in the ninth inning with just nine pitches to earn the save. While the Goldeyes had just four hits, the RailCats racked up 12 from eight different batters. CFÌýDrew MurenÌýhad three of those hits and scored a pair of runs and RFÌýDrew MartinezÌýhad a team-high two RBI as he went 2-for-4
³¢¹óÌýJosh RomanskiÌýadded two hits for the RailCats. For the Goldeyes, four different batters each had one hit.

Amarillo 5, Grand Prairie 2Ìý—
After the Grand Prairie AirHogs scored two runs in the bottom of the first to take the lead the Amarillo Sox came back with five unanswered runs in the fifth through eighth innings to claim a 5-2 win.
2BÌýAlex Nunez, who went 3-for-4 on the night, scored the game’s first run on a double from CÌýBrian PetersonÌýand then Peterson scored later in the inning on an error by the Sox. The Sox’ late game rally was powered by RFÌýDerek PerrenÌýas he went 3-for-5 with three RBI. DHÌýKyle NicholsÌýalso had a hit and an RBI for the Sox.
Starting pitcherÌýAnthony FiglioliaÌýwas tabbed as the winner for tossing six innings and allowing two runs, one earned, on three hits while striking out six. RelieverÌýDerek BlacksherÌýrecorded an eight-out save.

Fargo-Moorhead 10, Sioux Falls 6Ìý—
The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks turned 15 hits into 10 runs as they downed the Sioux Falls Canaries 10-6 on Friday night.
Eight of the nine batters in the Fargo-Moorhead order registered hits in the game and six of them had more than one hit. RFÌýBrandon TrippÌýhad a team-high three hits and scored three times. 2BÌýC.J. RetherfordÌýwent 2-for-4 with a team-high three RBI and both CÌýTravis HiggsÌýand DHÌýZach PenpraseÌýadded two RBI on two hits apiece.
For the Canaries, four different batters had two-hit games including RFÌýSteven TinocoÌýand DHÌýBrandon JonesÌýwho each had an RBI and a run scored.

Wichita 10, Laredo 5Ìý—
The Wichita Wingnuts and the Laredo Lemurs each had eight hits in the game but the Wingnuts turned those hits into twice as many runs as the Lemurs did on their way to a 10-5 win.
Six different Wingnuts had RBI in the game and they were led by 1BÌýVictor DiazÌýwho had three on one hit in the game. ³¢¹óÌýJake LuceÌýhad a team high two hits in four at bats with two RBI. For the Lemurs, CFÌýNick Van StrattenÌýwent 2-for-4 with three runs scored and 3BÌýJohn AlonsoÌýalso went 2-for-4 with three RBI. LFÌýJ.P. RamirezÌýadded a pair of hits as well.
Starting pitcherÌýJason Van SikkeÌýearned the win as he went 5.1 innings and allowed four runs (three earned) on five hits.

Lincoln 11, Sioux City 4 Game 2/7 InningsÌý—
The Lincoln Saltdogs completed the sweep of their Friday twinbill with the Sioux City Explorers with a 11-4 victory in the night cap.
The Explorers scored first in the second inning and then the Saltdogs reeled off 11 unanswered runs to take control of the contest. The Explorers added three more runs in the ninth but could only cut the deficit to seven – the same deficit from the first game of the day.
Three Saltdogs – 2BÌýLuis Nunez, DHÌýIan GacÌýand SSÌýMike GilmartinÌý– had three hits in the game and Nunez and Gac each had two RBI. CFÌýMatt ForgatchÌýhad a team-high three RBI. For the Explorers, ³¢¹óÌýMichael LangÌýposted three hits in five at bats.

Kansas City 5, St. Paul 2 Game 1/7 InningsÌý—
The Kansas City T-Bones put a pair of runs on the board in the fourth and fifth innings take control of the first of two scheduled seven inning games with the St. Paul Saints. The T-Bones won the game 5-2 and the second game was postponed due to rain. The two teams will start a doubleheader on Saturday at 6:05 p.m. Central Time.
T-Bones RFÌýRay SadlerÌýhad a team-high two hits and one of the team’s five RBI. 2BÌýDanny RicharÌýhad two RBI and both 1BÌýNick SchwanerÌýand ³¢¹óÌýBryan SabatellaÌýadded one RBI a piece. For the Saints, both 1BÌýAngelo SongcoÌýand RFÌýJoe BonfeÌýwent 2-for-3 and Bonfe had the Saints’ lone RBI.
