Winter Baseball Update: Australian League
A number of 2014 American Association players are spending their offseasons playing in the Australian Baseball League. TheÌýsix-team ABL, which begins play this weekend, plays a ten-week season andÌýtypically has several AA players on its teams’ rosters, including Gary SouthShore C Craig MaddoxÌý(pictured), who hit a three-run double in the Adelaide Bite’sÌý8-3 Opening Day win over Brisbane on Thursday.
