St. Paul 7, Lincoln 6
With two outs in the bottom of the ninth, 2BÌýAdam Frost (pictured)Ìýturned on a 2-2 delivery and belted a two-run walkoff homerun to lift the St. Paul Saints past the Lincoln Saltdogs 7-6. It was Frost’s only hit of the ballgame but it couldn’t have come at a better time. The game was tied at five runs apiece going into the ninth inning. RFÌýStephen DouglasÌýgave the Saltdogs the lead when he scored on a fielder’s choice hit by DHÌýTyler Goodro. Douglas and Goodro both had two hit games and Goodro had a team high three RBI.
In the bottom of the frame, the first two batters went down in order before CFÌýJordan TrippÌýworked the count full and eventually notched a single. Tripp scored when Frost homered in the next at bat to win the game. Tripp had a team-high in runs and hits with three of each. The game began just as it ended asÌýDan CarrollÌýhit a homerun in the very first at bat of the game.

Wichita 20, Laredo 6
The Wichita Wingnuts set a new franchise record for most runs in a game as they dominated the Laredo Lemurs 20-6. 1BÌýC.J. ZieglerÌýbrought in seven RBI – just two shy of the league record for a single game – and had two home runs on the night. He finished 3-for-4 with three runs. CFÌýBrent ClevlenÌýalso had two homeruns as he knocked in five RBI on a 3-for-6 night at the plate. Clevlen and Ziegler got started right away as they both homered in the first inning.
The Wingnuts did the bulk of their damage in the fourth inning when they scored nine runs on seven hits and sent 14 batters to the plate. Leadoff man SSÌýRyan KhouryÌýhad four RBI and three runs as he went 2-for-3. 3BÌýColt LoehrsÌýled the team in hits as he had four of them. Two Lemurs had three-hit games as LFÌýJohn AllenÌýand 3BÌýHarrison KainÌýheld their own.

Amarillo 11, El Paso 5 (Game 1 – 7 Innings)
The Amarillo Sox turned a one-run deficit into a six-run advantage with a pair of five-run innings to close out the first game of a double header with the El Paso Diablos 11-5. RFÌýChris ValenciaÌýhad up the score in the fifth inning when he scored on an error. Two batters later 3BÌýBrandon JonesÌýstepped to the plate with the bases loaded and blasted a grand slam – his third home run of the season.
Jones, who was 2-for-2 with four RBI, scored again in the sixth after a single from CFÌýJason Martin. Martin scored in the next at bat to give the Sox another five-runÌýinning. Martin finished the game 4-for-4 with two RBI.

Amarillo 12, El Paso 3 (Game 2 – 7 Innings)
The Amarillo Sox completed the sweep of the twinbill with the El Paso Diablos as 3BÌýBrandon JonesÌýhomered again and the rest of the Sox racked up 15 hits in the 12-3 win. CÌýTrey Ford, who bats right behind Jones in the order, also had a homerun in the second game of the doubleheader as he posted a team-high three hits in four at bats to go with two runs and two RBI.
Four other Sox had multi-hit games including RFÌýChris ValenciaÌýwho was 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. The Sox starting pitcherÌýRyan MitchellÌýthrew all seven innings and allowed just two runs on four hits. 3BÌýDevin Thauthad two of those hits and an RBI.

Fargo-Moorhead 17, Newark 5
Three different Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks registered four-RBI games as the RedHawks downed the Newark Bears 17-5 in an inter-league contest. SSÌýZach Penprase, RFÌýTim AlbertsÌýand 2BÌýC.J. RetherfordÌýeach had four RBI and Retherford had a team-high three hits. The Bears lead early in the contest after posting three runs in the bottom of the first inning.
But in the third inning, the RedHawks took the lead and never looked back. They scored five runs in the fifth thanks to a grand slam by Penprase and then put up five more in the seventh after a three-run sixth. For the Bears, RFÌýCarlos GuzmanÌýhad a team-high three RBI on two hits and both 2BÌýAntoin GrayÌýand 1BÌýErnie Banks Jr.Ìýhad three hit games.

Gary SouthShore 10, Kansas City 6
The Gary SouthShore RailCats jumped out to an early lead and held on to topple the Kansas City T-Bones 10-6. RFÌýMike MassaroÌýtripled in three runs in the bottom of the second inning to give the RailCats a 4-0 lead. Massaro finished the game with a team-high four RBI on two hits. The RailCats scored in each of the next four innings to take a commanding 10-2 lead.
CFÌýDrew MartinezÌýhad a team-high three hits and scored two runs and 3BÌýBrian KolbÌýalso had an efficient night at the plate going 2-for-2 and scoring twice. The T-Bones mounted a late rally with a four-run eighth inning but drew no closer. Both LFÌýJustin BassÌýand CÌýSteve YooÌýposted three hits for the T-Bones.
