Hudson was exquisite on the mound for the Monarchs in his two starts last week. Combined, he was 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA in 14.0 innings pitched. He allowed 12 hits and wone walk while striking out ten and did not allow a run in victories over a pair of West Division rivals in Lincoln and Sioux City.

This season, Hudson is 3-1 with a 1.50 ERA in four starts. He has compiled 24.0 innings, allowed four runs (all earned) on 25 hits, struck out 18 batters and walked just 5. Hudson, a former first round draft pick of the St. Louis Cardinals in 2016, is in his first season with the Monarchs.
