Tonight is the American Association All-Star Game at Shaw Park in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The game will match the American Association North and South All-Stars with representatives from all four Can-Am League clubs as well.
The “home” North team, managed byÌýÌýof the Gary SouthShore RailCats, contains players from the RailCats, Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, St. Paul Saints, Sioux City Explorers, Sioux Falls Canaries and Winnipeg Goldeyes in the American Association. The team also will have representatives from the Quebec Capitales and Trois-Rivieres Aigles of the Can-Am League. The starting pitcher for the North is RHPÌýAnthony ClaggettÌýof the St. Paul Saints.
The “visiting” South team, managed byÌýÌýof the Wichita Wingnuts, contains players from the Wingnuts, Amarillo Sox, Grand Prairie AirHogs, Kansas City T-Bones, Laredo Lemurs and Lincoln Saltdogs in the American Association. The team will also have representatives from the New Jersey Jackals and Rockland Boulders of the Can-Am League.
