Grand Prairie 10, Amarillo 2听—
Grand Prairie AirHogs 2B听Matthew Burns听and C/LF听Ryan Gasporra听accounted for a combined six hits and six RBI as the AirHogs handled the Amarillo Sox 10-2.
Burns and Gasporra each went 3-for-6 with three RBI and a runs scored in the game. 1B/C Brian Peterson, who followed right behind Burns and Gasporra in the batting order, had a team-high four hits and score a pair of runs. DH听Alex Nunez听also had a strong night at the plate as he went 3-for-6 with two RBI. On the mound, starting pitcher听Bennett Whitmorepicked up the win as he tossed seven innings and allowed just one run on six hits.
For the Sox, RF听Joe Weik听went 2-for-4 and scored a run and both DH听Kyle Nichols听and CF听Jason Martin听each had an RBI.

Wichita 10, Laredo 7听—
Eight different Wingnuts combined for 11 hits as Wichita downed the Laredo Lemurs 10-7.
All but one Wingnut had at least one hit in the game and the fifth through eighth batters in the order had all of Wichita鈥檚 nine RBI. 2B听Abel Nieves, C听Chris McMurray听and 3B听Taylor Oldham听each had two RBI and RF听Carlo Testa听had a team-high three RBI. Wichita put up a pair of runs in the first inning but the Lemurs matched those runs by the third inning. The Wingnuts took control with seven runs in the fourth and fifth innings and never trailed again.
For the Lemurs, four different batters had two-hit games including LF听Harrison Kain听who had a team-high two RBI.
