W.A.R. measures a player鈥檚 value in all facets of the game by deciphering how many more wins he鈥檚 worth than a replacement-level player at the same position. It鈥檚 a leading indicator of a player鈥檚 value to a team and in aggregate a leading indicator of the probable success of a team over the course of a season.
